Emmaus Road Kids!
Emmaus Road Kids! is our children's ministry, which provides care and instruction during the preaching portion of our worship service.
Check-in is available from 9:30 a.m. Come early and connect with other parents!
Curriculum
Our children's ministry uses a curriculum called Gospel Story, written by Marty Machowski. The curriculum covers the Old and New Testaments of the Bible every three years.
We offer three classes, organized by age: preschool (18m – 3 years), lower elementary (4 years – 2nd grade) , upper elementary (3rd grade – 6th grade)
On Sunday mornings, we engage in the following activities:
15 minutes of Children’s worship
15 minutes of craft or activity
15 minutes of Gospel story time
15 minutes of gym time activity
Children take home a coloring sheet and memory verse that corresponds with the Gospel story. This is way for parents/guardians to re-engage the lesson and review the memory verse with their kids.
Safety and Security
Your children are precious to you and to us! We take the safety and security of your children very seriously. We have a comprehensive program to ensure the health and welfare of your children while they are under our care that includes procedures for check-in/check-out, careful worker screening, bathroom breaks, infection control and hygiene practices, facility evacuation, emergency medical situations, and more
