Thank you for your interest in joining a Gospel Community at Emmaus Road Church.

Gospel Communities (GCs) are groups of people who are trusting the gospel of Jesus Christ together, applying the gospel in all of life together, and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ together. 

TIME + SAFETY + THE GOSPEL = GOSPEL CULTURE

GCs are not Bible studies, though they do study the Bible together. They’re not prayer groups, though they pray together. GCs are small-ish, but they’re not small groups or support groups. GCs are all about the gospel, trusting and treasuring Christ in all of life with other disciples. 

GCs are usually made up of 8–16 adults and their children, organized mainly by various seasons of life. Usually meeting weekly, GCs vary in the practices, but regularly eat meals together, pray together, sing together, study the Word together, play together, and do all of life together.

Our chief goal in our GCs—and in all of life—is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. And we believe that God’s glory and our joy is maximized in community.
